Stages of Great Siberian Way construction |
| |
| Here stages of Grest Siberian Way construction are given sorted by the
date of works completion and starting lines to regular operation. You can see as great
rail track to Pacific Ocean was acquiering visual outlines. Naturally in this
consolidated table terms of lines starting are given integratedly without division them
into more small sections: many lines were turned to operation in parts as works at
separate section were completed - for example Middle Siberian and Ussurian ones. Besides
some small branches are not mnetioned here, for instance Taiga - Tomsk or sections
classified by contemporaries to constituent parts of Great Siberian Way, but haven't
decisive importance in forming of transcontinent railway (Perm - Kotlas, Yekaterinburg -
Perm via Kungur, Tyumen Omsk and some others). Also it' necessary to note that dates in
many sources differ, so by it determination in case of contradictions data from
pre-revolution Guidebooks along Great Siberian Way were took as priority. * All dates are given in Old and New (in brackets) Styles, station names are given at the moment of the construction. |
