Vostrotin, Stepan Vasil'evich (1864 - about 1940) - engineer, worked
in Siberia, later he emigrated to China and France. Archive stock of Vostrotin (ab. 1000
un.) reflected in data base OCLC WorldCat and contains manuscripts by Vostrotin (mainly
his memoirs). They touch problems of CEL construction, mining of gold-fileds at Yenisei,
operation of North Sea Way, various researches and expeditions, Civil War in Siveria and
Far East, Russian emigration. Specifically work of Harbin newspaper "Russian
voice" where Vostrotin worked as editor is reflected. There are photos, maps,
newspapers and other printed material in the archive.
